Last week half of the school visited the recycling station. They all told me they had an amazing time there. I really wanted to go but sadly I was sick. I have learnt a lot from my friends and they explained to me what they did. A worker named Maria has told them a lot and also showed them a presentation. Room 14 was split up with other classes. I totally think they have learned a lot. Did you know that you can recycle some plastic? I didn't know. Did you also know that there is 3.5 million tonnes of rubbish is buried under New Zealand? WOW! 3/4 of the rubbish could have been saved! It is very important that we put our rubbish in the right bins and that we don't litter so we can keep our environment, community, and world healthy and tidy.
